The newly formed LSU Retention Committee, Faculty Senate, and Academic Affairs co-sponsored  the first Provost’s Symposium on Tuesday, February 8, 2011. 
 
The Symposium,  “Retaining our Students, Retaining our Future: Making the LA GRAD Act Work for Faculty and Students Alike,” featured the presentation  “Get LSU Students to Focus on Learning Instead of Grades: Teach Them How to Learn!” 
 
All faculty and academic support staff were invited to attend.  More information is on the attached flier.
